Intro to Strategic Committees

Policy & Government Affairs Committee

The Policy and Government Affairs Committee drives the Hub’s legislative and regulatory strategy, coordinating with PCAs and partners to shape policy, respond swiftly to emerging issues, and elevate critical advocacy priorities. It curates key policy resources and ensures clear, timely communication to keep the members informed and positioned to advance meaningful policy change.

PCA VBC Collaborative Committee

The PCA VBC Collaborative strengthens value‑based care efforts by bringing PCAs together to learn from one another, share proven strategies, and tap into collective expertise. Through coordinated peer learning groups and shared resources, the Collaborative strengthens PCA capacity and helps drive meaningful, sustainable progress in value‑based care nationwide.

Workforce Committee

The Workforce Committee tackles one of the most pressing challenges facing Community Health Centers: sustaining a strong, skilled workforce as the movement grows and expectations rise. The committee brings PCAs together to shape key workforce policies, maximize federal funding opportunities, strengthen communication with national partners, and map the resources and strategies that support workforce development across states.

The Collaborative Learning Committee provides a structured approach to shared learning that strengthens both PCAs and the broader health center community. It fills gaps that are difficult to address locally by fostering connections across states and leveraging the collective knowledge and expertise of PCAs and partners nationwide. Through this coordinated effort, the committee supports deeper collaboration, stronger alignment, and more effective learning.

Legal Resource Fund Committee

The Legal Resource Fund Committee focuses on aligning and optimizing economies of scale for legal resources across the PCA community. By establishing a shared platform for connecting and exchanging legal expertise, the committee supports PCAs in accessing the guidance they need without duplicating efforts at the local level. It identifies common challenges and leverages the Hub’s collaborative structure to address them collectively, creating a stronger, more efficient legal support system for the field.
